Kirsty grew up listening to her dad make up bedtime stories every night and from there quickly started to write her own. As Kirsty has lived life through its many ups and downs her love for storytelling has never waivered.

The idea for the podcast: Fancy A Blether? came about in 2020 when Kirsty was craving the connection and stories of strangers and has gone through a few different chapters since then. It is now a podcast which is essentially an online diary of a Scottish lass who loves to chronically overshare online. At the moment the diary is in an Aussie adeventures chapter because why wouldn't you move your whole life to the other side of the world all because of a TikTok trend.

The world can be a confusing, overwhelming and joyous place and Kirsty likes to make sense of it by writing stanzas in the hopes that they might connect with or leave some kind of impression on the reader.
